Sheetmetal Tradesperson

We are seeking a qualified Sheetmetal Tradesperson to take on a great new role in the heart of Newcastle for a thriving manufacturer with over 50 years of industry experience! Be part of a modern, workshop environment making a variety of custom and industrial products.

WHAT'S ON OFFER:

• 4 day work week + Friday counted as overtime

THE ROLE:

• Sheetmetal fabrication across stainless, aluminium and mild steel
• Working from drawings to produce high quality components
• Operating press brakes, rolling and folding machines
• General workshop fabrication, forming and finishing
• Working on a mix of industrial, commercial and custom projects

ABOUT YOU:

• Qualified Sheetmetal Worker with 3+ years post-trade experience
• Valid forklift licence
• Able to MIG & TIG on mild, stainless and aluminium
• Able to read and interpret drawings
• Experience with press brakes, folding or rolling machines is highly regarded
• Strong focus on detail, quality and safety in the workshop
